What We Believe
Those who have the means should support those who do not. This is the ‘social contract’ that sits at the heart of a strong, cohesive society
By encouraging more philanthropy and recruiting more philanthropists, we aim to revive and renew a culture of giving and volunteering in the UK, thereby reinforcing a new social contract
More philanthropy will require new and compelling ideas backed-up by well presented cases that will appeal to philanthropists who currently lack access to high quality social investment projects that accord with their priorities
The not-for-profit sector has no shortage of brilliant ideas – but many never achieve sufficient reach nor realise their full impact potential due to lack of ambition, skills and capabilities. Our aim is to bring them to fruition
Collaboration is a prerequisite for lasting change. Working with local communities, charities and other agencies, we can develop more innovative, collectively-owned solutions leading to more effective and sustainable outcomes
Sustainable impact is based on rigorous and transparent measurement and evaluation, which in turn drive ongoing learning and development. We believe that this is an area with scope for significant improvement throughout the sector.
